The whole party named above on the booking
form above will be hereafter known collectively as the Client. Any amendments are to be agreed, and are by arrangement,
with Allan & Christine Duckworth hereafter known as the Owners. The cost of the rental includes gas, electricity and water, use of the
Lodge and all its amenities and bed linen.
Towels and tea towels are not provided. The use of the Pure Leisure Centre and its amenities are not
included. Passes can be arranged at
extra cost or access can be obtained on a session basis. Terms
& Conditions
1.
The booking will be valid after the Booking Form and
Terms & Conditions have been completed and returned with a deposit of £60.00
or payment in full if within 4 week of rental start date. The Owners will confirm the valid booking
after bank clearance of the deposit, or
final payment if the booking is made within 4 weeks of the rental start date. Once a booking has been confirmed the cost of
the rental is guaranteed. 2.
The person who signs the Booking Form agrees that he
or she is authorised to agree the Booking Terms and Conditions on behalf of the
whole party and is a member of the party.
Bookings can only be accepted from persons 21 or over. Bookings can not be accepted from groups of
young people under 21 years of age. 3.
A deposit of £60 must accompany all bookings with
the balance due 4 weeks prior to the commencement of the rental start date. A security deposit of £100.00 will be required
with the final payment. 4.
The security deposit will be returned to the Client
at the address shown above after the rental period and within the week
following the rental period and as long as: a) the keys and
barrier passes are returned b) there are no
losses or damages reported by or to the Owners c) In the event that
any damages exceed £100.00 we reserve the right to claim this from the Client 5.
The Client agrees to pay for damages and breakages
to the Lodge and its property and agrees to: a) report any loss or
damage immediately to the Owners and/or South Lakeland Holiday Village,
hereafter known as the Park b) allow the Owners
or their Agents access to the property to carry out any necessary maintenance c) leave the Lodge in
a clean and tidy condition and take good care of the Lodge and its property 6.
The Owners reserve the right to cancel the booking
if final balance payment is not received by the due date which is 4 weeks prior
to commencement of the holiday rental.
In the event that a cheque is not honoured by the bank we reserve the
right to cancel the booking. 7.
The Client may cancel the booking and receive a full
deposit refund provided the cancellation is received in writing by the Owners
up to 8 weeks before the start of the rental period. For cancellations received in writing between
4 and 8 weeks prior to the start of the rental period a refund will be offered
only at the discretion of the Owners. No
refund will be offered for cancellation within 4 weeks of the rental period. 8.
In the highly unlikely event that due to circumstances
beyond the Owner’s control a cancellation of the Booking is necessary, the Owner reserves the right to cancel the
Booking and will only be liable to return monies already paid. The Owners will however assist in attempting
to secure similar accommodation for consideration by the Client, at no charge to the Owners. 9.
No liability is accepted by the Owners for failure
of appliances or loss of mains services 10.
The Owners and the Park do not accept any liability
for injury, or losses or damage to the personal property of the Client or for
any claims by any third party as a result of actions by the Client or other
person occupying the property during the rental period. The Client is responsible for taking out
adequate insurances to cover all risks.
This also applies to people visiting the Lodge as guests of the Client. 11. The maximum
occupancy for the Lodge is 6 persons and is limited to the persons named on the
Booking Form and/or any amendments notified in writing and agreed by the Owners
in writing. Any contravention of the
above will render the booking void and all monies paid will be forfeited. You will be asked to leave the Lodge
immediately without compensation. 12. The Owners and the
Park reserve the right to cancel or terminate a holiday booked where the Client
has failed to disclose all material facts as required at the time of
booking. The Owners may also require any
person not observing The Park Rules or creating a nuisance to leave the Park. In these circumstances the Owners and the
Park shall not be under any liability to the persons involved and shall be
discharged from further performance of its obligation. Any refunds will be at the Owners discretion. 13. The Lodge has a
strict NO PETS and NO SMOKING policy.
Contravention will render
the booking void and all monies will be forfeited to cover the cost of any extra
cleaning necessary and/or dry cleaning of soft furnishings. 14. The Lodge is
available from 4.00 pm on the day of arrival with vacation by 10.00 am on departure
day
